ULTEM PEI 2300-1000 / 4001-7402 High Rigidity Glass Fiber Reinforced Polyetherimide Resin

ULTEM 2300-1000 and 4001-7402 are high-performance glass fiber reinforced amorphous polyetherimide (PEI) thermoplastic compounds developed by SABIC. These industrial-grade reinforced PEI grades upgrade mechanical rigidity, structural stability and high-temperature creep resistance based on standard PEI polymer matrix, while retaining PEI’s inherent high heat resistance, excellent hydrolysis stability, broad chemical resistance and halogen-free flame retardant properties.

ULTEM 2300-1000 is a classic 30% glass fiber reinforced natural PEI grade, featuring ultra-high stiffness, low thermal expansion and balanced processability, widely recognized for metal-replacement structural applications. 

ULTEM 4001-7402 is a customized reinforced PEI variant with optimized fiber dispersion and modified formulation, providing superior dimensional repeatability, stable mechanical output and consistent surface performance for high-precision and high-load industrial scenarios. 

Both grades comply with RoHS, REACH and global environmental standards, suitable for long-term high-temperature, high-stress and multi-cycle service environments in aerospace, automotive, electrical and industrial precision equipment.
