ULTEM AUT200 belongs to the exclusive AUT automotive optical PEI series, a specialty unfilled amorphous polyetherimide resin engineered specifically for vehicle lighting and precision optical components requiring vacuum metallization high-reflective surfaces. Base form is natural transparent amber pellets; custom solid black opaque color grades are also available on demand.Without glass fiber, mineral or other reinforcing fillers, AUT200 eliminates filler shedding, surface blemishes and reflective layer defects. It features optimized high-melt-flow molecular structure paired with ultra-low outgassing and minimal plateout additive formula, drastically reducing mold residue and fogging risks under long-term high-temperature illumination environments.The material retains all classic core PEI inherent advantages, with a glass transition temperature of 217°C and haze onset temperature up to 204°C, maintaining stable optical transparency and reflective performance under continuous thermal loads. Fully RoHS and REACH compliant, it is the preferred material for automotive fog lamp reflectors, headlight optical housings and precision optical light-guiding components.
