Halar ECTFE is a partially fluorinated semi-crystalline polymer offering a unique combination of properties for highly demanding industries. It is widely used in anti-corrosion applications as a lining or in self-supporting constructions (piping). Its excellent fire resistance and chemical resistance properties make Halar ECTFE a first-choice in wire and cable applications. Halar ECTFE offers purity, surface smoothness, chemical resistance, and fire resistance which are key characteristics in the semiconductor and photovoltaic markets.

Halar 300DA by Solvay is an ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer. Is suitable for processing by extrusion. Possesses medium viscosity, outstanding chemical resistance, low permeability, excellent weatherability, good abrasion resistance, excellent fire resistance properties, durability, purity and surface smoothness.

Market Applications:

Halar ECTFE is widely used in anti-corrosion applications such as coating or in self-supporting constructions (pipes) and architectural films. Its excellent fire resistance and chemical resistance properties make it a first-choice product for wire and cable, communication cable and specialty cable applications.
