Halar is used extensively in chemical and pharmaceutical processes, semiconductor fabs, refineries, power plants as well as for many other different applications in contact with highly corrosive or ultra-pure chemicals.

Halar 3404DA is designed for electrostatic powder coatings and is particularly recommended for use in protection and anti corrosion applications where food contact compliance is required

Halar ECTFE is a partially fluorinated semi-crystalline polymer offering a unique combination of properties for highly demanding industries. It is widely used in anti-corrosion applications as a lining or in self-supporting constructions (piping). Its excellent fire resistance and chemical resistance properties make Halar ECTFE a first-choice in wire and cable applications. Halar ECTFE offers purity, surface smoothness, chemical resistance, and fire resistance which are key characteristics in the semiconductor and photovoltaic markets.

Halar 3404DA is a filled, pearl-white, semicrystalline melt processable fluorinated resin that may be used in full compliance with the federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act food additive regulation 21 CFR 177.1380(a)(4). It is designed for electrostatic powder coatings and is particularly recommended for use in protection and anti-corrosion applications where food contact compliance is required.

Market Applications:

Halar ECTFE is widely used in anti-corrosion applications such as coating or in self-supporting constructions (pipes) and architectural films. Its excellent fire resistance and chemical resistance properties make it a first-choice product for wire and cable, communication cable and specialty cable applications.

Its purity, surface smoothness, chemical resistance and fire resistance are key characteristics for the semiconductor and photovoltaic market.
