ULTEM 9075-BK1A151 belongs to SABIC premium 9000 series FST (Flame/Smoke/Toxicity) PEI, an unfilled high-flow amorphous polyetherimide compound supplied in solid black opaque pellets with color code BK1A151. No glass fiber, mineral or reinforcing fillers are added, eliminating filler shedding and surface cosmetic defects. This aerospace-specialized PEI blend features optimized high-melt fluidity for ultra-thin, complex long-flow molded structures, while delivering industry-leading low smoke and low toxic combustion performance. It fully meets FAA FAR 25.853 aircraft flammability standards and OSU 65/65 heat release requirements, halogen-free and PFAS-free formula, fully RoHS, REACH and eco-compliant, with ISCC+ bio-based variants available on demand. Built on classic PEI backbone with 217°C Tg, it retains all core thermal, mechanical and chemical resistance advantages of ULTEM series, serving as the standard material for commercial aircraft cabin interior, rail transit carriage and mass transportation low-smoke structural components.
