Why Fortron PPS
The Fortron PPS chemical structure provides excellent chemical and thermal resistance. Insoluble in all known solvents below 200°C (392°F), it has very good stability in both typical and alternative automotive fuels.
In addition, Fortron PPS can be extruded with melt-blown and spunbonded technologies for melt-spun nonwovens. Unfilled, high viscosity Fortron PPS is also suitable for extrusion and compression molding to produce sheets, rods and other stock shapes commonly used for prototyping.
