Capa Thermoplastics are high performance polycaprolactones, PCL, which can be used in many different applications such as packaging, bags , films, paper coatings, adhesives, orthopaedic casts, hand molds and 3D filaments.
Capa Thermoplastics have a wide compatibility with other polymers, are sealable and printable with a good processability. They are also non-toxic and readily biodegradable; both aerobically and anaerobically. As high molecular weight linear polyesters, Capa Thermoplastics are generally used for its mechanical properties, with high demands for tensile strength and flexibility, and for the excellent thermal properties and hydrolytic stability.
