Ultem PEI 4001‑7402 PTFE‑Modified Polyetherimide Resin

Ultem 4001‑7402 is SABIC amorphous polyetherimide (PEI) compound, standard‑flow grade compounded with built‑in PTFE lubricant, black pellet formes. This grade combines PEI’s inherent high‑temperature performance with enhanced friction‑and‑wear properties for tribological functional parts. It suitable for injection molding and precision CNC machining.

Typical Application Fields:         

Ultem PEI 4001‑7402 is selected for high‑performance industries requiring heat resistance plus self‑lubricating tribological performance:

• Industrial machinery: Self‑lubricating bearings, sliding bushings, wear pads, thrust washers, valve components, cam followers.

• Automotive: High‑temperature under‑hood sliding parts, sensor accessories, wear‑resistant structural inserts.
